Flowers have played a big part in Sue's life, Her father Arthur Gascoyne used to have his own flower and seed shop on wharf rd.Sue went to work at a local florist shop called Mrs Darbourne where she started to learn her trade, while working there Mrs Darbourne obtained inter flora status, Which in those days. to achieve such prestige required work of the highest standard.
After a few years Mr Clive Lunn approached Sue to work for him although his business did not have inter flora status.Very soon after Sue began to work for Mr Lunn continuing to develop her expert floral design skills they won the coveted inter flora status.
Sue worked many years for Mr Lunn going part time when she had a family. Sue was approached by certain People to do flowers for them, so decided to have ago on her own. She approached all the professional people on setting up a business and since 1999, supported with thirty years proven experience.
Sue's Flowers is blossoming into a highly respected business in its own right, locally recognised as unmatched service and skilled floral work in Grantham.
Sue in her days at Mr Lunns did a flower arrangement for Lady Diana. Since going alone Sue has built up a strong personal customer base, receiving many letters of gratitude, for both funeral and wedding work provided.
Sue, if requested by a family, will come to discuss your flower arrangement's in the event of a sad loss in the comfort of your own home, Sue has found that families welcome sincere personal service and appreciate the sensitive unpressured approach.
